I too am a boxing fan. I want to see that fight more than any other fight actually . However, as a fan of Mayweather I see where he's coming from. If it don't make dollars, it don't make sense! That's a motto for everyday life and we all adhere to it whether you like it, or admit to it or not. Why should fighters be any different just because WE as fans want to see them fight regardless. Most you people bitching about it wouldn't pay 100 bucks to watch on ppv if you could pay 59.00 so be realistic!

Are you so blind that you think he won't make any money from fighting Cotto. This fight, if it ever gets made, is going to be huge. I garantee you it's going to be bigger than the DLH rematch. You know what's stopping this fight from being made is that Mayweather knows there's a real chance he could lose and he is a one trick pony, after he loses he knows he's out. 1. Scheduling - did you want Cotto to fight him the day after?

2. Can you prove the low blows were intentional? There are accidents in boxing. No way of saying he absolutely "needed" them. He would've KO'd Judah either way.

If you check up there still on this thread.Someone quoted Cotto saying 'I have to do what I have to do in order to win' Anyone who watched that fight knows what was happening early on in the fight.

most of the ppl who sent emails to espn for a cotto-mayweather fight were from UR country.

The difference is Cotto has not only fought and KOd Judah but he also faces TOP welterweights i.e. Quintana, Mosley and now Margarito. Unlike Cotto.. Floyd will not fight a TOP Welterweight in the their prime.
