      3) They only have one belt per division so how are they always going to put their belt on the line when there is only one belt per division

These are some facts that you should think of before posting ridicolous comments
Serra was put on a Reality TV show which put him on the shelf for 6 months then he injured his back.

Rampage Jackson is on a Reality TV show so he won't be fighting for 10 months.

UFC only has one belt for division but they don't have all the fighters so that point is mute.

Nogiera isn't even scheduled to fight again but Brock Lesnar is.

          Margarito vs Cotto

I agree boxing was not putting on the match-ups we wanted a few years ago, but lately they have been doing all the right moves.

Boxing co-promotes the UFC doesn't so that means the Superfights I would like to see aren't happening.

          Randy vs Fedor
          Cung Lee vs Anderson Silva
Gomi vs Penn 2 or Sherk

Boxing is only about making money?

Whats the poins of Brock Lesnar? Making money right?

About the free shows Hatton will be fighting on Versus in a month and Delahoya will be on HBO. Not bad considering that you have to pay to watch Evans vs Bispin if your a MMA fan.
Are you seriously going to compare match-ups from the past to now. All the Lewis fights, all the exciting RJJ fights. I don't even need to go as far back as Ali. Nowadays their talent with respect to them aren't the same as before. Now its all about running with the win. Back then they had more at stake because they wanted people more fans so they put on more of a show so they used to put on the most exciting fights ever.

The greatest MMA fight today will never ever compete with the greatest boxing fight but with that said the newer generation of boxing is far different then the older one. I'm not even talking about technical boxers because they are one of my favourites to watch, I'm talking about the guys who don't even put in effort. I understand what Clinton Woods was going through when he recently faught Tarver and it was free anyway if had Showtime but look at his performance comapred to a past fighters performance who was at his ranking. They are different. I do agree that UFC should co-promote so we can see more fights that we want. The problem is they are still growing and they are still privatly run

Another mis-conception is that everytime someone talks about UFC or even MMA in general, they tend to make references to boxing which doesn't make much sense. Boxing is far older and has more money to do what they want and UFC is reletivly new compared to boxing. With what they accomplished in the past 15 years, I think they deserve more respect then they are given

Yes I have, it was a great fight but IMO the ref stopped it early for Katsisdis but the point is you don't watch MMA to know that it was better then any MMA fight. If you did, you wouldn't have posted that. You make a big statement with that and you don't realize how much great fights there have been. Also, maybe it isn't so big in the filipines because there aren't as much filipino fighters

The UFC has the best MMA fighters. Even the newly formed MMA sanctioning body which was supposedly formed to find who the real champs are in MMA has a UFC or WEC fighter as the number one ranked fighter in 5 out 6 of the weight divisions. http://www.gowamma.com/rankings.asp

You should have picked two different guys, I love both RJ and Lewis but they have been in some very boring fights. And alot of people ***** that Roy ducked all the top guys (I don't agree)

                    And yes I will compare

                    Corrales vs Castillo 1
                    Vasquez vs Marquez 2/3
                    Marquez vs Pacquiao 1/2
                    Morales vs Pacquiao 1/2
                    Taylor vs Pavlik 1
                    Morales vs Barrera 1/3
                    Gatti vs Ward 1
                    Ward vs Augustus

With any of the great old time fights

Your talking about Running to win now? did you watch Nate Quarry vs Kalib Starnes????

And why do you bring up Clinton Woods when that night we had some great fights between Dawson vs Johnson and Cintron vs Margarito??

Looking at the glass half empty aren't we?

I have seen every high profile MMA match ever and most the smaller ones and I will say Marquez vs Vasquez 3 was better then any of the MMA matches I've seen.

There have been great MMA fights but not like Corrales vs Castillo or Morales vs Barrera 1/3.
