I dont really see how you can that people arent saying that.
I would like to know exactly which Cotto fans are making such claims? Im yet to see it. If anything, its the boxing experts who are making such claims. Every single Cotto fan knows that this is a toss up fight. It can go either way.

If you go through all the threads about this fight its in every single one by many many posters. Actually that's the only form of victory for cotto i've read is that he is going to outbox him. nice to see you have a realistic point of view.

I don't see what's wrong with that. If any boxer executed the same plan over and over with every fighter he ever faced he would be called one-dimensional, and as soon as someone executed a successful strategy against his fighting style, he would be defeated over and over and over.

I'm a long time Cotto fan and yes it is a toss up.

I'm more leaning to the side of Cotto winning by a KO in the late rounds.

But its possible that Cotto can get sniped with an uppercut and put away for the evening.

Every fight is 50-50 unless you're fighting Gomez. LMFAO.

you don't get it. If it's so easy to outbox a pressure fighter like the cotto people say he will do to marg then you have to put the same logic to use in a cotto/floyd fight since cotto will be the pressurer and will get outboxed by floyd.

Have you people forgotten the old adage? Styles make fights.......

Cotto is a good boxer, but to think he's on the same level as Floyd is stretching it to say the least. In all my years of watching boxing, Floyd is about as fast a fighter as I have ever seen. His relfexes are incredible and his ability to move in close quarters is some of the best I have ever seen in a fighter....ever.

I'm not a fan of Floyd as a person but to deny his ability or to put Cotto on the same level with him in boxing skills is rediculous. Cotto can't box like a 35 year old DLH and Floyd outboxed DLH for 12 rounds.

Margarito can't box with Cotto, we know this but Margarito has chin and size over Cotto and we don't know how Cotto will react to a fighter as strong and as agressive as Marg.

Marg will get hit, we know this but so will Cotto. The question is, can Cotto handle Margarito on top of him for 12 rounds..... we will see.

A lot of fans don't wanna hear **** negative about their favorites. PBF, Cotto, and Tony are all good fighters who could all beat each other. Leave it at that and let em settle it themselves in the ring.
