I think Cotto has this in the bag.

It is possible to KO Margarito, your chin means nothing if you get rocked in your ribs and if Cotto could withstand brawling Ricardo Torres and knock him out I think he can do it to Tony.

But I think the real outcome is prolly a decision. Tony's exciting and come foawrd but he's turtle slow and Miguel can box when he has to and brawl when he has too.

i think this fight is closer than floyd v. cotto would be and i honestly cant pick a winner.

you have Miguel Cotto who beat Shane Mosley; quintana, judah, malignaggi; etc. who is a top 10 p4p fighter; great body puncher; shows he can box also.

you have Margarito; tough fighter...great chin...workrate is AMAZING...

its a close fight. period.

i think cotto is getting better with every fightand whilst i do like margarito, i honestly dont think he would be able to keep up with cotto for 12 rounds.

It would be competitive at first but the accumulation of punishment would eventually catch up to marg and i think there is even a possibility that he gets stopped late.

I say Tony by SD. He'll outwork Cotto all night long at the same time Cotto's ripping his body apart. He'll be tired and gettin hammered down the stretch but will have done enough volume punching throughout to get 2 of the 3 cards. Similar to his loss to Williams only the script will get flipped.

I honestly think Cotto is going to make Margarito look like a second rate fighter. I mean, what are we basing Margarito's fame off of, KOing Kermit Cintron twice? Cintron just sits there and lets himself get hit. His defense is atrocious and keeps his hands down the whole time.

Cotto's speed, defense, and over all boxing ability will frustrate Margarito. I'll admit Margarito is a tough dude, but that'll just be his downfall with Cotto outclassing him for 12 rounds.
