I expect Cotto to get lured into a brawl once in a while but Cotto is strong mentally, I think he can stick to his gameplan.
    Definately, let's do it, silencers.

I know a few Cotto fans will get offended I have bets against him in my sig, but I'm a gentleman. I take all bets.

also cotto is not the one dimentional brawler he used to be he could easily win an ud

well all it takes is one time to get caught with punch and lose the fight. Margarito will force you to fight. Anyone thinking this fight would be a boxing match is completely wrong. This would be a fight with both fighters coming forward.

I saw all the same things. ^ Margarito looked very slow on some of those shots. Cotto looked for snappy and quick on almost all of his.

We'll see but I think Cotto will surprise a few people by boxing and not going forward all the time.

To me at first blush this would be Cotto's hardest fight to date. This 1 of 2 question marks remaining for Cotto at WW. 1 is Mayweather and 2 is can he fight big WW's. Margarito physically has everything going for him in this fight. This is gonna be Cotto's first fight where he won't be the stronger fighter. 5'11 vs 5'7 1/2, Margarito has much longer reach, is stronger, fights every second of every round, constantly pressures you to fight his fight (a close one), throws punches from all angles and is just hands down the much bigger guy. Margarito isn't great by any means but he's good at what he does which is use his size advantage at WW to bully around smaller guys by coming forward and swinging away. To me the fight boils down to whether or not Cotto's boxing abilities can overcome Tony's physical advantages and style of constant big man vs little man pressure. Also I don't see Miguel hurting Marg, maybe to the body but Marg has shown he's a tough rugged fighter so we'll see. Having said that I favor Cotto by decision. Split, majority, UD whatever but not by KO still should be a very entertaining fight of a hobbit versus an orc....

I completely disagree with you homey. For Cotto to come forward would be his death wish. Cotto has to and will box. Marg will be the guy coming forward.
