Cotto has a chance of winning by KO. Ya people have your heads so up your ass that when you take it out, all you hear is **** coming out ya mouths.

This is boxing. Anything can happen.

Tony will get outboxed. Jab, Jab.... Right hand to the body, left hook then move out. People think Tony is this god because he took shots from Cintron(which he sees), but what if Cotto throws the fastest counter punch he has ever thrown and Tony doesn't see it? What's gonna happen? Cotto has a chance at KO'ing Tony. This is why I can't be serious on this forum and don't even post as much as before cause of the bull**** from these noobs, or people that know **** about boxing, but imply their hate towards another fighter.

    I laugh.

I think that Cotto is capable of hurting Margarito. TM does have a great chin, but Cotto's bodyshots would hurt anyone at 147, and may be enough to keep Margarito from going all out for a KO in the later rounds. Cotto by UD.

The more I think about this matchup, the easier I think it is for Cotto to win, even by KO. Cotto has the quick, accurate combinations to disturb Margarito's rhythm. He'll allow Margarito to come in by slipping the jab (if Margo even uses the jab to come in, which, most of the time, he doesn't) and then fire off combinations and counterpunches as Margarito tries to hit Cotto, then step aside and frustrate Tony. Margarito is the slowest fighter Cotto has faced in a while (I think Gomez is faster than Tony) so it shouldn't be a problem for Cotto to see the shots coming and either defend against them or counterpunch over/under them.

Margarito's body is going to be punished, just like Kelson Pinto's was.

Miguel Cotto by UD. Cotto might have to get off the canvas but his speed will win him the fight.

, changing his style game is already affecting him in my eyes,
he is not use to it yet, margarito won't stop coming cotto is gonna run out of ideas, now mayweather would just cruise the whole fight against anyone em'
Cotto goes for the kill right away? Since when? LOL

Cotto can & will easily move around Margarito and select his shots as he usually does. Margarito won't use his height or reach (as he usually doesn't) which will give Cotto access to the body where he'll land some beastly shots that'll slow Marg down.

Margarito can take a punch, but taking shots to the body throughout a 12 rd fight will take a toll on anybody, especially with how fast they'll be comin at him.

Fight looks great on paper, but I think the majority of the people know who's winning this fight hands down.

I like Margarito, but he couldn't KO or seriously hurt a tired Paul Williams in the later rounds, even though he needed a KO to win. I can't see him getting the KO if MC boxes a smart fight.

Two very different fighters, I don't understand why people keep making comparisons between two very distinct fighters. Williams was and is a very unorthodox fighter for anyone. He's so long and lanky and throws hard shots with leverage.

Cotto will be the much smaller man in this fight and I think that will make a difference in the fight. Cotto will have to box his ass off to keep Margarito off of him for 12 rounds.

The 2 biggest questions in that fight will be:

                  1) can Cotto box Margarito for 12 rounds

                  2) can Cotto take Margarito's best shot's because he will get hit, there's no doubt about that.

Cotto was folding and backing up and getting caught while being pressured by mosley. If he thought that was pressure wait till he gets in the ring with margarito. His chin better be ready for hundreds of punches a round from all angels!! Cotto has really improved on his speed and now has a great jab. This fight should be a classic!!!
He hasn't improved his speed. You can't improve speed, your brain response and muscle fibers dictate that. What has happened is he has been fighting Mosley (36 years of age and no longer a fast fighter) and Gomez (do i need to say more?). If anything this has hurt Cotto because he needed a better preparation than Gomez. He is now convinced he can box but he's dead wrong.
