All of those you mentioned are actually bums.

That might be true, but he's still one hell of a trainer who can work with Miguel's style, unlike Buddy who will probably just want him to jab his opponent to death.

                After thinking about it...

Guys after thinking about it...what does Cotto have to fine tune? Not much besides his defense. He proved he has boxing abilities when he was moving and countering Shane Mosley. I think Buddy McGirt understands Floyd Mayweather's style more than any other trainer out there because this is the style that Buddy tries to make his fighters fight. It's not like having Mayweather Sr. or Roger in Cotto's Corner but McGirt understands that style. I don't like the idea but at the same time this might be a good move because Buddy is not going to change Cotto, he's more likely to enhance his skills and moving abilities. Again not sounding like a broken record but Buddy knows Mayweather's style and maybe this move is about teaching Cotto a few tricks and putting a big name trainer in the corner to merge Cotto's fan base with Buddy's fan base. It might be a good move after thinking about it.

Joe is classic with the corner instructions. I loved when he'd sit there and give Chico the tranquil yoga instructor **** just to turn around and be all, "you gotta get on his ass now Diego". That **** used to crack me up.
