Even when bobby wins he doesnt make the news in the philippines. Manny sneezes and its on the news
The angle is for rest of America. Filipinos are already a lock to buy the fight. My point is your calling the guy a cab driver, but why would Manny a p4p fighter fight him then? It's Arum's way of trying to preserve Manny. It puts TopRank in a win win situation. I'm not saying this is Manny's choice, but it's obvious Arum cares nothing about Pac's legacy and is in the way of Manny's growing legacy imo.

I still say the only way Pac fights Antillon is if he becomes a mandatory challenger and it's a mandatory defense. Even then it probably wont happen. There are way more attractive options at lightweight espeically if pac keeps winning. Theres also a possibility he'll either vacate and move to junior welter or retire.

He still received less than 750,00 for a world title fight with Barrera. A fight that had a very controversial decision that went Marquez's way. So bad luck is not the story of his career because the "gift" decision as some would say actually went Marquez's way in the Barrera fight. The Story of Marquez's career is bad management. Plain and simple. Morales offered to fight Marquez 1st after the draw with Pacquiao. Marquez's camp refused that as well. Morales ended up fighting Pacquiao instead...Marking Pacquiao's skyrocket rise into the #2 p4p in the sport. So i say Marquez has been both blessed and cursed at the same time by Nacho.
I totally agree, he got a gift decision against Barrera, he was lucky, MAB got screwed with his pants on.
