The angle is for rest of America. Filipinos are already a lock to buy the fight. My point is your calling the guy a cab driver, but why would Manny a p4p fighter fight him then? It's Arum's way of trying to preserve Manny. It puts TopRank in a win win situation. I'm not saying this is Manny's choice, but it's obvious Arum cares nothing about Pac's legacy and is in the way of Manny's growing legacy imo.
Now see why Juan Manuel Marquez was fustrated?

With an average of 10 children per family, what the **** would you expect?it evens out when the two fight... the crowd was 50/50 Mexicans and Phillipinos... we outnumber you fools in the damn country and not to mention we actually LOVE boxing unlike you pinoys that are just watching it to enjoy ONE fighter so i wouldnt be surprised if there were more Mexicans supporting Marquez then Phillipinos supporting Pacquiao.Comment

I still say the only way Pac fights Antillon is if he becomes a mandatory challenger and it's a mandatory defense. Even then it probably wont happen. There are way more attractive options at lightweight espeically if pac keeps winning. Theres also a possibility he'll either vacate and move to junior welter or retire. The angle is for rest of America. Filipinos are already a lock to buy the fight. I totally agree, he got a gift decision against Barrera, he was lucky, MAB got screwed with his pants on.Take away the 1.6mil he received this time and throw in the 750,000 he was offered the 1st time around and that would still be his biggest purse to date. He still received less than 750,00 for a world title fight with Barrera. A fight that had a very controversial decision that went Marquez's way. So bad luck is not the story of his career because the "gift" decision as some would say actually went Marquez's way in the Barrera fight. The Story of Marquez's career is bad management. Plain and simple. Morales offered to fight Marquez 1st after the draw with Pacquiao. Marquez's camp refused that as well. Morales ended up fighting Pacquiao instead...Marking Pacquiao's skyrocket rise into the #2 p4p in the sport. So i say Marquez has been both blessed and cursed at the same time by Nacho.Comment
