I still think its ****ing hilarious a world title fight between the world champ and the WBC's number5 ranked contender got outsold by a couple of cab drivers in Urbano Antillon and Bobby Pacquiao. Lol

I havent said that at all. it is they that say it. They brought up the Juarez fight and i just laughed at how shockingly low the ticket sales were for a world title fight as opposed to a meaningless bout with no implications to the lightweight division whatsoever.

no but he'd still do 20 times better than the jmm -juarez fight. was that even a ppv?

            look here man....

true, JMM took a lot of concessions to get this fight. he was representing mexican pride in this fight and blew it for not only himself, but for an entire country. he beat barrera, he beat juarez. hes the man right?

if hes really the man people make him out to be, then learn how to live with your decisions. he made ridiculous concessions as a champion because he knew that was the only way he would get to try and redeem all this hurt mexican pride. and what does he do? he goes and not only LOSES the fight (a close fight in which i had him winning, but officially he gives up the wbc belt and takes an L), but then cries about it like a little sore loser whining *****.

that aint no man. if he was, he would accept his mistakes such as his getting knocked down, etc. and come back strong. thanks for a great career JMM, now retire. =)

I doubt he was thinking of all of that before the fight. Most likely he was thinking of whipping his ass. He's a true sportsman and Im sure thats what he did.

Had to accept a no rematch clause if he lost but had to accept a rematch clause if he DID win. if not the fight wouldnt have happen.

and he lost a VERY close decision which he felt he won. given the circumstances, his reaction towards the situation is understandable in my opinion. yeah he ****ed up by out pricing himself when the first rematch was offered but he manned up and took the fight under ****ed up conditions. if not, we never would have gotten to see it unfold.

For Christ sakes, get over it! Pac easily and soundly beat Marquez.

I dont think he dealt with anything contractwise at all other than a signature. He just stuck with what he does best which is training to win fights. So blame Nacho!! Lol!!!

it evens out when the two fight... the crowd was 50/50 Mexicans and Phillipinos... we outnumber you fools in the damn country and not to mention we actually LOVE boxing unlike you pinoys that are just watching it to enjoy ONE fighter so i wouldnt be surprised if there were more Mexicans supporting Marquez then Phillipinos supporting Pacquiao

I would love to see how much the Pacquiao vs David Diaz does in PPV sales... poor i bet.. but then again Arum will prolly just put some Mexicans in the undercard to get more people to buy it...
