yeah but calling people rat face or boring gay counterpouncher its not common sense
those two guys gave a great fight and deserve respect the fault here is the las vegas judges who couldnt see the clear winner who is in my opinion jmm
and there is also pacman fault for settling with a split decision that coulda gone either way and running away to fight the paper champ david diaz
true boxing fans want marquez pac 3 not diaz vs pacComment

The ratface and boring, gay is obviously a joke meant to bring levity to an otherwise quickly becoming hostile situation. I have to disagree with your blaming the judges because i had the fight a draw. I also want to see Pac Marquez 3 but i agree with Bob Arum saying you must give it enough time to put air under it. Having a rubbermatch with conditions as is may do well but probably do nothing but hand out another controversial decision. But if Pac beats David diaz and Marquez takes a match with casamayor and wins...It would add fuel to the fire and more drama to an already interesting rivalry. It would tenthfold what a rubbermatch as is would do financially.yeah but calling people rat face or boring gay counterpouncher its not common sense

He deserves to be frustrated because it is his own doing :Dude made incredible concessions just so that the fight can happen:
Took a major paycut in comparison what the challenger, Pac was getting (1 mill to Pac's 5 Mill)
Had to accept a no rematch clause if he lost but had to accept a rematch clause if he DID win. if not the fight wouldnt have happen.
and he lost a VERY close decision which he felt he won. given the circumstances, his reaction towards the situation is understandable in my opinion. yeah he ****ed up by out pricing himself when the first rematch was offered but he manned up and took the fight under ****ed up conditions. if not, we never would have gotten to see it unfold.
1. He took the paycut, but the Marquez camp was the one who offered that not Pacquiao's camp. There were moves to have Pacquiao at lightweight, but the demands were mounting for a rematch with Marquez. It is not the paycut that made the rematch happen its the demand of the people and excitement was building up hence Pacquiao's camp knew the clamor was just overwhelming, PPV numbers are gonna shoot off the roof, so they cashed in on that. I dont know what the **** is the Marquez camp thinking why did they bothered to have to offer a paycut, other than of course, the genius Beristain have time and again used his MIS-management abilities. Even if its a 4M-2M share in favor of Pacquiao, it will still be Manny's biggest paycheck so I dont see any reason why his camp cant accept that.
2. Having offered the paycut, why did they even agreed to one-sided no rematch clause? They could have easily haggled that they already took the paycut hence they should have a rematch clause. Moreover, he is the champion therefore he has to enjoy that right. Im pretty sure had they made that public, it will be a cause of debate was to why the Pacquiao camp is not offering a rematch.
3. They are too ****y for their own good. They accepted these one-sided conditions because they assumed this will not matter and they will win. It was probably never in their mind that they will lose otherwise they couldnt have accepted that. Now Pacquiao, Arum, Roach and company are laughing their way to the bank, and their camp is whining on the decision and demanding a rematch to which something that they should have control of in the first place.
JMM is a good boxer but a wasted talent. He built his supposed great career but surrounded himself with people who are, for the lack of a better word, idiotic when it comes to management decisions.Last edited by Papa Ace; 03-26-2008, 07:42 AM.Comment

Marquez has all the right to be pissed, so does his camp. All the effort that was put forth, all the rediculous hype and pressure that was put on him PERSONALLY.
Callin Paq an Assassin, the **** outta heaaaaaa. lol well, where was Marquez' assassination? Ohhhhh, thats riiiiight. Marquez isnt 30 years old trapped in a ****in 54 YEAR OLD BODY due to previous punishment, and Marquez isn't a Jorge Solis, some overhyped fighter that TopRank probably boosted up lol.
Only people that actually criticized Marquez for being pasionate about his profession after that fight in the post fight confrence, were pencil pushers (the insignficant boxing writers, the same type of douche bag that would find somthing as lame as a TOUCH DOWN DANCE by Deion Sanders to be "bad for the game.")
And of course the Flips. (One of the only negative things they can reach for to say about Marquez lol).
Aside from them, you can bet that everyone else could understand his and his camps frustration.Last edited by MaYaN_SuN; 03-26-2008, 08:35 AM.Comment

The simple fact is JMM only has himself to blame.Comment

I wanna see a 3rd match just as bad as you do but cmon man. They have nobody to blame for signing a damn contract that could have been easily renegotiated had they actually paid a decent lawyer. And what is done is done. Instead of bitching about it Why doesnt JMM actually do something productive that'll actually help his argument. LIKE BEATING JOEL CASAMAYOR!!!Marquez has all the right to be pissed, so does his camp. All the effort that was put forth, all the rediculous hype and pressure that was put on him PERSONALLY.
