Now see why Juan Manuel Marquez was fustrated?

Dude made incredible concessions just so that the fight can happen:

Took a major paycut in comparison what the challenger, Pac was getting (1 mill to Pac's 5 Mill)

Had to accept a no rematch clause if he lost but had to accept a rematch clause if he DID win. if not the fight wouldnt have happen.

and he lost a VERY close decision which he felt he won. given the circumstances, his reaction towards the situation is understandable in my opinion. yeah he ****ed up by out pricing himself when the first rematch was offered but he manned up and took the fight under ****ed up conditions. if not, we never would have gotten to see it unfold.

The guy is human. He lost a close fight that he had every right to feel he won. If he bitches so what. People act like they haven't made excuses for losing at the smallest things. This is his life, his profession.

what makes me laugh is reading comments like these:

"I was a fan of Juan Manuel Marquez untill he started whining and acting like a ***** after he lost"

comments like these coming from certain posters who are still fans of a fighter who is doing whatever possible to avoid the best possible fight out there for him and the fans and is putting boxing aside for FAKE WRESTLING. ****ing ridiculous.

if he had won, he also said that he'd turn the tables around in a rematch and make pac beg for the purse. but, apparently during the negotiations, his belt didnt bring anything to the table, both promoters know that pac was the main draw.

It does sound bad but Pac is the attraction not JMM. I've known and followed JMM since back in 97-98 era, so I do know him. Pac is just the draw and with that comes the gretaer share of the purse.

Then again, JMM really had no other choice and take the fight with whatever options were attached to it. JMM does not sell , PPV with him as the lead will bomb. This was his cahnce to change all that and the knockdown cost him that opportunity.
