As far as who is the bigger draw , its about where , in the US Cotto in the UK its Hatton , PPVs excluding Floyd , Cotto has bigger numbers than Hatton ,,,,, in Australia Fenech was pulling 40,000 for the same reasons Hatton does at home ,,, media attention , pleasing style to the layman and likable character ,,, all adds up to marketing adds up to man in the street fan that dont normally follow boxing .

Hattons only had 1 PPV in the US and the numbers were impressive.

I think you might be right there about the PPV Parody ,, must mean that the bigwigs didnt think Hatton was worthy of PPV for those fights , but my point was about the location more than anything ,,

              UK??? Hatton By Far...

Before we judge the USA.. we need to see what kind of Numbers each of their next fight brings..

I would guess.. Their US Pulling Power To be about the same... But Opponent will always Play a role as well..

Exactly...It depends on the opponents, Hatton's fights with Urango and Collazo werent on PPV because they werent well known or didnt have as much to offer, where as Cotto has fought Judah, Mosley and Quintana (Who beat Joel Julio) on PPV, If Hatton fought Judah or Mosley they would have been PPV's as well and bigger than Cotto...I'm talking about overall in boxing because the world doesn't revolve around USA, Cotto-Mosley did 370K but was that more because of Mosley or Cotto? I think there is a reason why Cotto doesn't fight outside NYC...

Anyways when it comes to putting asses in seats its Hatton, sold 45,000 tickets in just one day, the reason I think its Hatton because most if not all of his fans are even willing to travel to US to watch him where as Cotto has local fans in NYC, lot of PR's in NYC
