You think Cotto has a larger fanbase than Hatton. I understand your a fan and everything thats why I wont say anything but you will surely know that a lot of people will disagree with you, This isnt even about Mayweather

The topic is about Hatton and Cotto, I pity tha fool who thinks Cotto is a bigger draw than Ricky Hatton

so what's the big deal u don't even like hatton.
I like Hatton, I just done like his fighting style, he is genuinely a nice guy, but this is about me liking him or not, I just dont get how you guys can be so biased? PR's are usually not biased I thought. Just look at how many people actually agree with you but I guess some people dont like to be wrong.

this question is only valid PRE Mayweather. Who was the bigger draw in the states BEFORE Hatton fought mayweather. Its unfair to make this kind of distinction now that Hatton got his own 24/7 show and a shot at Mayweather. Because to be honest, if 30K people flew from the UK to watch Hatton, if 900,000 K bought the PPV event in the UK to watch hatton, then the biggest draw in the sport currently IS Hatton?

Not 30,000, but it'd be enough sell sell out any fighting venue in Vegas IMO.

Am going to flip that question back to you:

Lets just say Cotto had a big fight in Europe, how many of his fans do you think would make the trip?

Very possible, Hatton is as popular as ever. The guy is always popping up on TV and EVERYONE knows who his is. 50k tickets sold out for Lazcano in around day or two, and 800+ thousand PPV buys in Britain for the Floyd fight at 4am. Even if you're not a Hatton fan you have to acknowledge his popularity, he's the most popular British boxer since Benn and Eubank, maybe more so.

Cotto maybe more popular in the US, but worldwide? I doubt it.

The question is who is the bigger draw in BOXING, not who is the bigger draw in the states!

Come on man, play the game LOL.

Yeah because everything revolves around the US............................................Hatt on fight are always sold out in UK, as much as 45000 tickets were SOLD in the FIRST DAY with his fight with Lazcano.
