      Let me ask you this?
If Joe wins, which he will, and retires undefeated, who would you have higher up in the all time ranks?
I don't know much about Calzaghe, so I won't comment on that before I educate myself.

But if he wins, he still defeats a man who fought all his life at middleweight and 43 year old version at that.
I'll be impressed if he wins dominantly, but not so much if it's a split decision or too close.
After all, if it's close, he would be no better than Taylor, would he?

Calzaghe has some good names too you know.

edit: And I would give Calzaghe credit for beating a 43 year old Hopkins. I like Calzaghe and already give him credit.

Hopkins overated he has beaten 4 Elite fighters in his career blown up or not Trinidad was a good powerfull Middleweight ask William Joppy ,Oscar was actually doing very well untill that Body shot

Winky might have been fighting at 175 but come on Hopkins is 40+ he is hardly holding all the advantages there now is he

as for Tarver im not a fan but he is an Elite fighter that Hopkins beat Easily ,Tarver can say weight drained what ever he got beaten by Hopkins easily IMO

Hopkins overated NO , Calzaghe has'nt beaten an Elite fighter yet maybe Hopkins will be the 1st

I'd say Kessler and Reid were elite fighters. Eubank too I guess.

Robin reid was an olympic medalist. He also got robbed against Sven Ottke.

Kessler has beaten many top dogs at SM. Beyer, Mundine, and Andrade were all top people.
