If he was a better inside fighter than Cotto, don't you think he would actually try and stay on the inside and not run like he always does? Use a little plain and basic common sense, will ya?
Then again this forum gave you red karma.. a two star rating... and the poll... says your an idiot.

Obviously you know very little about the sport or else you would actually try to argue my points. You get red karma when people can't come up with a rebuttal to facts. The poll just shows people know very little about boxing on here and we have a lot of Mayweather nuthuggers.

Are you trying to tell me if Mayweather and Cotto went toe-to-toe, Mayweather would get the better of Cotto? Give me a break.

Guys I understand both sides of the arguement but I think we are giving Floyd far too much credit and not enough credit to Cotto. Cotto stays active throughout the rounds while other fighters do not and take breathers. Floyd has never been in the ring with someone who systematically breaks you down like Cotto does. Reflexes and speed was the game that Judah and Mosely and even Malignaggi brought to the canvas against Cotto and he broke everyone down. Hell Mosely tried four different game plans and Cotto adapted to each and beat Mosely to the punch. It's one thing to argue about what fighters do to other fighters and what they are capable of doing but when your in the ring and taking punishment there is something else that gets discovered above speed and skills and that is the will to win and the heart a fighter possesses. Cotto is the type of fighter that takes you to the deep waters and if you have the heart and will you'll make it to through the 12 rounds but if you don't it's all over. Regardless of who has the better inside game it's about the big picture- who can implement their game plan more effectively and force the other fighter to fight their fight. This is why this fight is so intriguing because both fighters are masters at making their opponents fight their fight and we can debate all day long of who is the more masterful but the bottom line is that we fans need to demand this fight so this arguement can be settled or at least give us a basis of arguing our points. For the record as far as the question goes both guys do a hell of a job from the inside and outside but I give Floyd the edge from the outside because of his speed and reflexes but Cotto is no slouch from the outside either and I give Cotto the edge on the inside because he stays busy to the body, which Floyd does but not as often as Cotto.

Floyd when it takes his fancy can be beautifull on the inside, similair to my man James Toney! More polished than Cotto for sure, and clever as hell too but trust me he dont want none of Miguel on the inside! U watch em grab for his life if it ever happens and gets close!
Cotto is the guy who'd be throwing the hurtfull punches and by the bucket load! Mauling and using his strength in there, as good as Floyd is he would be seriously uncomftable in there.

The first part of your post is exactly correct. Debating is a lost cause on this site..People can't validate their point so they result to bashing and red K'ing ****..

The second half is what I disagree with. Floyd won't beat the crap out of Cotto on the inside, taking very few licks in the process
