The first part of your post is exactly correct. Debating is a lost cause on this site..People can't validate their point so they result to bashing and red K'ing ****..

The second half is what I disagree with. Floyd won't beat the crap out of Cotto on the inside, taking very few licks in the process

Mayweather will land a lot of accurate shots, but he has no power. Cotto can stand and trade with Mayweather and it will be to his advantage. Do you think Mayweather would go toe-to-toe for 12 rounds with Cotto if they ever fought? If Mayweather is such a great inside fighter, why does he run from anyone with power?

I think floyd does have power... at 147 he doesnt have one punch KO power but he does have accurate power, the type that WILL wear you down, because you dont see them coming..

Maywetaher chooses to BOX his opponents because 100% of the time he is the better boxer..Why fight/brawl went you are the best boxer in the game..It just doesn't make sense..Mayweather will point his butt to death..The hell with "toe to toe"..the sport is called boxing..Boxing is an art that few fighter have been able to master..

All had good punching power and he never run in any of those fights so what are you on about ?? and as for Cotto vs Mayweather on the inside if Mayweather had the speed and power he had at 130 and 135, as a Welterweight now. Then yes i would pick Mayweather to beat Cotto on the inside, Mayweather is brilliant on the inside, the only trouble he ever had with a pressure fighter is Castillo and that was because of an injury. But all the other good pressure fighters like Chavez who threw over 100 punches near enough every round he tore up.

You're right, it's not Mayweather's style. It's better for him to run and box. So how in the hell can you say Mayweather is a great inside fighter if he's never willing to stay in the trenches against top opposition?
