Hatton is top opposition. Even if your sad little brain thinks otherwise.
Hatton is not Mayweather's size nor is he in his weight class. Cotto is actually bigger than Mayweather and would be the best opponents that he has faced to date, which is why Mayweather is not in a hurry to take the fight. Cotto is a brutal body puncher that has the perfect style to beat him, im actually favoring Cotto in that fight. (If they fight)

Basically what it comes down to is... theres nothing that Cotto can do Better than PBF...

Cotto cannot cut off the ring faster than Floyd can circle him

Cotto cannot goto the body at will, without getting sharp counters to the face

Cotto cannot land on floyd, as easy as floyd can land on him

Cotto has slowed down before, NEVER ONCE has pbf slowed down

Cottos BEEN knocked down, PBF has NEVER been knocked down

Cotto has good hand speed, but its NOT faster than Floyds

Cotto has decent defense, but its NOT touching floyds defense

Cotto has rawer power, PBF has sharp accurate power

Let cotto goto the body.. and let him pay for it.

I just cant see ANY possible reason... Cotto can OUTDO anything Floyd can do
      can i play?

Cotto is wiling to take the fight, PBF is NOT.

and lol at you saying let Cotto try and throw body punched without being countered, instead of admitting that Cotto is a better body puncher. Cotto has never been legitely knocked down, he was pushed down and it was ruled a knockdown. Floyd was ACTUALLY knocked down by Judah, but it wasnt ruled a knockdown. Mayweather is faster, Cotto is stronger. Its not always who is just Physically better. And mentally, Miguel Cotto is as mentally strong as you can be. Youll be surprised if these two ever fight as how well Cotto does.

You guys seem to think Floyd is invincible, hes really not. Cotto will apply SMART pressure on Floyd, very much UNLIKE Hatton who bulled in, and break him down little by little. He will cut the ring off, use his jab, work the body, and break him down. I honestly think Cotto can and will beat Mayweather. Mayweather will deffinately get off some very good shots and if Cotto can take them he can win. Mayweather obviously has a great chance at winning as well because hes a great fighter. I hope this fight gets made so all these questions can be answered. But you assessment on why Floyd wins is ******ed.

Plain and basic common sense. If Floyd was invincible, he wouldn't have to do so much ducking and dodging.

If Hatton is an elite fighter, why did absolutely no one but yellow teethed Englishmen think he had a shot in hell of winning the fight? You think a fighter who struggles with Collazo, Maussa, and Urango is elite? Be serious...

There is just know way that you can take a defensive minded fighter that rarely fights on the inside, and say that he is a better inside fighter than the best body puncher in the game.

Baldomir had to lose alot of weight for his fight with Mayweather, he seemed really sluggish that night and looked kinda tired around round 8 or so. At 154 though, Baldomir was quicker and never really tired.

Exactly. That's like saying Shaq is a great 3-point shooter because he hits them all the time in practice.

The only fighter he struggled with in that bunch was Colllazo and I believe Collazo beat him. He easily Ud'd Urango by over-clinching(Urango was tearin his ass up with the body-shots though), and I've never seen the maussa fight. There's no way in hell Floyd is better inside than cotto

I have seen near enough every single Mayweather fight, and in the early rounds he jabbed and moved and didn't stand toe to toe with Castillo, but in the middle rounds he did stay very close to Castillo and fought on the inside, especially the 11th round where he traded punch for punch with Castillo.
