Your statement which I bolded means nothing.
Yeah but comparing what Cotto did to Judah and Mosley is hardly comparing what he may or may not do to Floyd.

Inside fighting is not really Mayweather's game. He likes to fight and pick his spots to work on the outside more. Mayweather only fights on the inside when he has too because of an opponent pressuring him. He mainly ties up on the inside and waits for the referee to break them apart.

The body is where Cotto lives. He goes to the body regularly to break his opponents down. He is actually one of the best body punchers in the sport and left hook down stairs is devestating. He is the clearly the better inside fighter.

Well we know floyd is an outside fighter.. of course he is... but when he DOES fight on the inside... he out hustles you just the same... he rolls everything you shoot at him, with quick counters, his combinations are faster and more accurate than yours.. and he wont get tired at all either...

All cotto looks to do is stay on the inside, and floyd looks to stay on the outside... but when floyd DOES decide to go on the inside... he simply outdoes you just the same

Most of Cotto's knockouts has came from body shots because that is his game, to go to the body. Mayweather only fights on the inside when he has to because he feels more comfortable at fighting from a distance. When he does chooses to go to the inside, he is no where near as effective as Cotto is on the inside.

WHAT?! he has the perfect defense for inside... you cant use the left hook on him.. thats ALWAYS being blocked... any right hooks you throw he simply uses lateral movement to duck under them.. or he ll shoulder roll back and forth.. as soon as you goto the body.. not only does he block the body with his left arm, but then he comes back with rotating straight right hands while your wide open... Infighting is an intelligence issue as well, and I just dont see Cotto as being more intelligent then floyd..

you gotta look at it like... who has cotto worked on the inside against, who was such a great defensive fighter like floyd? nobody... the guys he worked on the inside, were there to be hit, like zab.. and outboxing shane mosley, as much as i like the guy, is far from outboxing floyd..

on the other hand.. what pressure fighters has floyd over taken? a prime Castillo, twice, for one... and ricky hatton definitely gets included as far as pressure fighters... castillo and hatton are some of the best... floyd completely outworked the both of them....

I see cotto as being just like a prime castillo, real good fighter... but the skill overall isnt there to beat a perfectionist boxer.

Floyd has so many tricks up his sleeve when it comes to the inside game. Cotto is no slouch himself and he has the sort of power that can be affective with only a small space to hit. I would say overall Floyd would be the better inside fighter, because he can dish it out but avoid taking in close range.

Cotto would live in Mayeather body. I see him doing what Castillio did but worse. He would bring educated pressure, use that jab, and take advantage as Mayweather is on the ropes. Castillio found it easy to hit Mayweathers body as he layed of the ropes. Look at how Castillio was able to **** his body.

Cotto throwing period would look impressive to the judges, which is why his fight with Oscar was so close, because Oscar being busy and throwing punches, weather they were landing or not.

Also, when Mayweather is blocking the left to the body, he is vulnerable for the over hand right, which is one of Cotto's best weapons.

I never realised how good Floyd was on the inside until the Hatton fight.

Hatton was known for being a good inside fighter and Floyd completly outclassed him.

One question.... Castillo going to the body for 12 rounds... and what did it do?

                      he Still lost.
