I agree with that and it is clearly unfair that other boxers get free passes when Floyd doesn't.

Mayweather-Bruseles is seen as an act against God, but Cotto-Gomez is a nice tune-up that is completely okay. I don't get that.

What's even more ignorant about it is taht they say "Floyd fought Buseles so Cotto should be able to fight Gomez" but they fail to mention that they BASH Floyd relentlessly for fighting Bruseles and should do the same to Cotto. People these days....

True, but please give a little context to your statements. N'dou was Floyd's mandatory. People seem to be mad that Floyd isn't fighting mandatories now, but the criticize the ones he did fight and the opponents that he fought in order to become a mandatory (e.g. Corley and Bruseles).

Sosa, only got the fight because Freitas backed out of negotiations two months before the fight was supposed to happen and HBO needed a mostly credible opponent ASAP. Personally, I would have rather seen Floyd fight Casamayor or Freitas, but they each turned down $1.5 mil. So, did Lazcano. Sosa was the best HBO could find.
