Not really. Hop is cool. I'm only worried about any blacks out there who said to themselves, "yeah he'd never lose to a whiteboy." Hop is cool, but c'mon in terms of boxing skill he's never been in Calz's league. We have here a fight in which he's a heavy betting underdog, despite his higher p4p ranking (proof there that the rankings are biased tyowards Americans). Even the black posters hesitant to pick a white European are all saying Hop has little chance. I don't worry about what Hop says. But if you're picking him to win, you need to ask yourself some questions. Granted, some can fairly pick the underdog based solely on boxing considerations. But if you're picking Hop, ask yourself a second time why. Just in case.
