Nah, didn't really take any notice of it at all. Not trying to stir up a racial discussion or anything but would it be a different story if it was the other way round though?

I'm white and not bothered at all by his comments but it would be interesting if Joe had said, "I'll not be beat by a black man", I think there would be a storm of protest with people saying he should be banned and stripped of his titles.

exactly there would be double standards if it was the other way round. to sit here and turn a blind eye to a clearly racist remark is not acceptable and actions should definitely of been brought against hopkins

Yeah this is what annoys me. I wasn't offended in the slightest with the actual comment, just the fact that if it was roles reveresed we'd never hear the end of it. I just hope Calz has the tools to shut Hopkins ignorant mouth come fight night.

i agree with the roles reversed opinion. It is a low comment if u need a racist comment to promote a fight then u must not be an exciting fighter.
