Vernon is just a broke ass chump who's trying to make some money now that his career is coming to an end. He's trying to use his mouth to create interest since his performances in the ring put people to sleep. He Sucks!

You are ignoring the facts. Let me remind you of the history and how it went down:

In early 2006 after Floyd defeated Judah, the talks of a Delahoya-Mayweather fight started for September 2006. Delahoya after beating Mayorga said he would need sometime on his boat to think about it. After a few weeks of thinking, he said that he would sit out the rest of 2006. By that time Floyd already bought out his contract with Arum. His original plan was to fight Mosley in November 2006 but Mosley decided to sit out the rest of the year as well after beating Vargas saying he needed a vacation. Floyd thought about fighting Cory Spinks at 154 and ended up taking a fight with Baldomir, who was the real champ at 147.

      That's how it went down.

Do you agree that there is a possibility that Arum and margarito already planned this and if Forrest happens to accept his challange, Margarito plays along with Arum saying that he won't allow him to fight Forrest.

That way Margarito safes face and nobody can blaim him. Do you agree that is possible?

I'll admit if I was wrong about that. But what difference does it make if arum didn't want make the fights for floyd with dlh because of his feud or if he doesn't want to make it with forrest becasue he wants to make an all top rank card with margarito and Cotto, it's still Arum deciding who his fighters need to fight or them leaving.

of course it's piossible. But Arum is smart and all margarito has to do is keep quiet and beat juda or cintron in his next fight, and then have the fight against Cotto where they both make good money and set up a bigger fight for more money with whoever else is still up in the welterwieght picture, cashing in for arum and margarito. I just think Margarito's manager admits he is willing to fight Forrest without thinking things through. I think it's possible it went down like you stated, but unlikely.

If Floyd really wanted to make the Oscar fight while still having Top Rank as his promoter he could have. Then it would be up to Oscar and Golden Boy to accept it. Thing is he feared that Oscar would not accept with Arum as the promoter. On top of that he didn't need Arum anymore and decided to dump him so he can get more money instead of paying Arum.

You think Arum would have skipped out on a Oscar/Floyd fight? ****, he wanted a piece of that pie because he knew it was gonna be a huge event, but he couldn't. He was pissed that he wasn't part of that fight.

                Don't get things twisted bro.

i think margarito beats forrest pretty easily.

forrest clearly lost to quartey in one of the worst decisions ive seen the past couple years.

beating baldomir and piccarillo does nothing to impress me. forrest is a one deminesional fighter and he doesent like pressure... bad matchup but props to forrest for saying he will take the fight.. whether or not either guy will actually put up and sign the contract is another question

good point, but int his case Arum wants no part of Forrest, like he didn't want any of williams (and he still doesn't, especially not for Cotto) because he stands to gain very little from that, that's a key difference.

WTF........Forrest a one-dimensional fighter? Dude it's more the other way around, Margarito is a one-dimensional fighter and he is slowww. I can't believe the lack of knowledge I'm seeing here.
