    Klitschko of course.

Barrera they say was fairly well off as a kid.

Calzaghe from a very solid family.

Kessler had economic stability by all appearances

    Roy Jones is a hick
He's not street, but he was sure as hell not priviliged.

Right about Barrera. Not sure about Zag, i'd have to research that one. Same with Kessler.

Not sure about Roy jones...he really didn't have much stones though. You have to agree with that.

I had a tougher upbringing than ALL of the above-mentioned, and I'm no fighter.

You need competitiveness, and that can come from many sources,.

What is the point of this thread? Other than basically trying to say "street" boxers are better than boxers from a more wealthy background. Which is not true.

Someone asked if Hopkins was too street for Calzaghe in another thread.

True. It does take something special to step in the rings.

Some of the guys that box honestly, (IMO) do it for fun and they want to hurt people.

Someone said here before, if "street" helps you in anything, it's intimidating your opponent, if your opponent doesn't get affected, doesn't have much use, at least in boxing.
