Ohhh the excuses.........I didn't adjust to the climate in America yadda yadda yadda.

Now this will be one ugly fight. With Calzaghe's (***** fighting out of spider webs) style and Hopkins's defensive, one-punch-with- head-coming-in-and-clinch style.....this will be real ugly. You will not see any real action.

Every punch landed will look uneffective on both sides. But who is the King of Ugly fights? Who benefits more from that? Answer: HOPKINS
Winky looked real good against Tito, he looked very competitive landing shots against Taylor. But against B-Hop, he wasn't effetive at all. The jab wasn't working. Hopkins stunk up the place and took a close decision.

That's what will happen here folks. Hopkins by a close ugly decisoin. After the fight, calzaghe and his stans will cry robbery and all kinda other excuses.

    I CAN'T WAIT
Care to bet 25K points on it?

it was champion vs champion it should be but who's champion is often subjective.

Joe Calzaghe will coast on the Senior Circus Circuit. B-HOP/RJJ/TITO all to make appearances. Enjoy fight fans. THis is what we get for massaging the balls of Calzaghe.

It should be pretty self explanatory. Being that there's so many different classes and 4 major sanctioning bodies.

I can't say that any of the major Americans ducked Joe, but put yourself in this situation: a) take 1 million fighting a great fighter in his own backyard OR b) fight a Taylor, Winky etc, over a three match rubber at 3m a go???

Fighters have a limited career even the Bernards of this world, so you've got to make the most of what you've got. Now Joe has become better known and will fight in the States, anyone who's anyone wants a piece of the action. Simple economics.

To my friends accross the pond, check out the Welsh National Anthem, really passionate (kicks the **** out of god save the queen).

Italo, una questione piccola: Quanto famosa e Joe Calzaghe in Italia? E Famosa in Sicilia?

It depends. There is way too many Championship belts around for everybody to be equal.

Roy Jones with or without a title was the P4P king. They were comparing him to other all-time greats. How was Joe Calzaghe an equal to him at that period of time???? You're ignorant if you think Roy had to chase Joe Calzaghe in europe.......it was the other way around.

Calzaghe at that point in time would have to settle for less money then Roy of course but would have still gotten a career high payday.

He simply did not wanna come to america. The difference between Joe Calzaghe and Ricky Hatton is.........one guy got rid of Frank Warren and even had to go to court to free himself and started fighting in America and the other guy felt comfortable just selling out in Whales making safe paydays for the most part.
