You don't mean that. It's just the overhyped-ed-ness that's clouding your judgement. You see a 44 and 0 guy and you're thinkin......well he has to be great and I will ****ride that bandwagon until he losses.

We've seen what Joe can do and I'm not impressed with his skills to give him that much of an advantage over Bernard. It's gonna be a close fight, either way, and I'm thinking Bernard is gonnag get the nod his way.

You didn't answer my question, if you think Calzaghe should not fight the P4P #4 fighter in the world, (in Las Vegas after people kept bitching about him fighting in Wales, while Hopkins himself has never fought in the US), who should he fight instead? Just because you fight in the US doesn't make you superior to other boxers in the world.
well calzaghe is lucky that p4p #4 in the world is way past his prime. hopkins ducked joe? lol. if he chose to come to the US the fight would've been made. don't you people know why you have to fight in america to be considered the best? IT'S BECAUSE IT'S WHERE THE BEST FIGHTERS IN WORLD FIGHT. no, not in england, germany, russia etc. US and US only. why is it so hard for people to understand that US is the center of boxing?

I strongly disagree and that's where I think people are overhyping Cazlaghe and underrating Hopkins. Yes Hopkins is 42/43 and he would be better off if he were 4 or 5 years younger BUT that's what is gonna make it even more embarassing once Calzaghe and his stans realize that he is in a competitive evenly matched fight against The Old Executioner.

Italo the point I was trying to make. Floyd Mayweather moves to 140 defeats Thunder Gatti for WBC belt that makes him the legitimate champion of the divison? No it doesn't because Kostya Tzyu was the undisputed and linear champion and vacated the WBC belt and was the true champion of the division until losing to Hatton.

Sometimes though it's not as clear as to who is the champion.

Nobody is jumping on Bernard's bandwagon. He is the underdog here. You're the one who is jumping and repeating like a parrot what everybody else says.

Did you watch alot of Calzaghe fights or do you just repeat what everybody else says about his work rate. Why don't you go watch a couple of his fights and tell me if he throws a 1000 punches per fight.

He is not gonna be in the ring against a punching bag, Hopkins is a great counter puncher and if Joe goes wild with those sloppy wide shots, he will get countered all night.

Tell me how his workrate is in this fight:

joe doesn't have to throw 1000 he could throw 500 and that would still be double what bernard will throw. what makes bernard so nice because he's a counter puncher so what there are alot of counter punchers.hopkins lost the best opponent he has ever faced roy jones and lost to the biggest opponent he fought in taylor twice.

Yes he lost twice to Taylor, one fight that most thought he won. He was very defensive in that fight and still managed to win the late rounds on all scorecards but it wasn't enough.

The thing is, Taylor wasn't giving him much. Taylor was very defensive himself. If Calzaghe like you say, comes to outwork Hopkins and throw that ******y-fighting-out-of-spider-webs style of his, he will get pot shotted all night with counters. One way or the other, he will not land much on Hopkins.

Hopkins is too crafy for Joe.

That's a very ****** statement, if US is so good, where are all the US fighters in HW, the most popular division in the world? Or SMW for that matter, and yes, hopkins canceled the fight. If Hopkins is P4P #4, and is from USA, he must be good right? But then again, like you say, he IS 43 years old, and he is way past his prime, yet somehow he is still P4P. Is it because he's maybe American? Also, I asked you this question 2 times and you didn't answer, if Calzaghe is such an overrated bum, that doesn't fight in US, who should he fight other than the highest ranked current LHW which he's fighting in the us?Face it, Calzaghe will get no credit if he wins this match even though he's beating a P4P fighter. Typical underrating of a non-American fighter.
