Before the fight floyd is going to lose...after there is 100 reasons why floyd opponent sucks. And I'd be damn if fighting for the wbc championship is considered a tune up fight because that's what you just said lmao. So the wbc championship fight was a tune up for what a heavy weight title?
You're talking out of your ass buddy, and it's obvious now that you either just started watching boxing, or you're delsuional about your boy. Because no one gave Gatti a chance at all.

When Floyd was at this age he was still headlining HBO, hadnt even gotten a PPV yet. And his next two fights were against Bruseles and Corley. Of course you're trained to think about ppv buys liek that matters since you take after everything Floyd says.

LOL! He's just an upcoming fighter and doing very well at that hate him or not, there will be Miguel Cotto for a while.
You can take a brief look at his thread history and see he's been at this for a while.

I like Cotto the way he is. I don't need for him to be a phoney-smile havin, DLH undercover rapist/crossdresser. Cotto is old-school cool. No BS talk, stern demeanor and a class act. He may not speak English to well just yet, but he is very, very eloquent when he speaks Spanish. He is def. no idiot.

Oscar was a plastic phag with a good left hook and better than avg. chin/power.

Cotto has personality, just not that ****** BS like FLoyd. He is a class act. THe only people who think he is a statue are the Attention Deficit types who like their stimuli fast paced like those video games they were raised on. Or they expect a decent PR to sound like Ja rule and talk **** into a camera about how money he is... **** is played out.

I don't think I have ever seen him break a smile before a fight except when he gave Mosley his birthday cake. He has his own personality, just not the kind that would give him the new 'Golden Boy' moniker.

He actually did break a smile before the Zab fight when he was the studio guest on Friday Night Fights on ESPN, they did a crossover interview thing with Zab after his fight and Zab started trash talking about their upcoming fight and they show Cotto laughing at his comments, he actually threw a wink at Zab. It was hilarious look it up on youtube, I couldn't help but to laugh myself by looking at Cotto with a geniune smile.

Who the hell were you talking too that considered Gatti a risk, the cast of Soprano's? No boxing fan with a halfway decent seeing eye dog thought Gatti was gonna win so please. You also fail to mention the Mitchell and Brussel fights, so where is your arguement that PBF took no tune-ups.
i REMEBER A LOT OF people claiming that Gatti had a chance of winning. Everyine was talking about when Gatti lands what it could do to lil Floyd. I got the HBO Coutdown of that fight at home and they mentioned that a lot as well. So don't blur the facts, there were quite a few that questioned Floyd in the Gatti fight. That was no tune-up, he was challenging the WBC champion. Mitchell was a tune up, but a high risk tune-up. Floyd hadn't fought many soutpaws, let alone with speed and he was still an former champ. I haven't seen floyd fight a tune up in a long time. And Torres, Quintana, and a few others u gave has quality wins for Cotto would have been looked at as tune ups for Floyd.

He is only been fighting professional since 98 and fought more quality of opposition than Cotto has at this point. And Floyd is a big deal, the biggest!

Homie he does have a point. I wasnt a member of this site at the time the fight occured but the forum I use to post had Gatti as the favorite(I know you probally dont believe me but Its the truth). It was because people hated Floyd so. I'm not defending what he is saying but people did give Gatti a chance.
