Yeah, Cotto was fighting nobodies like undefeated prospects Malignaggi, Torres and Quintana while Floyd was fighting NOBODIES like Emanuel Augustus (22-16-4, loser of 4 of his last 6 fights.)

And that 36 year old was a hell of a lot more active than DLH was when Floyd fought him (3 fights in the 2 years prior vs 1 fight in over 2 1/2 years prior, not to mention Shane had just SCHOOLED the guy that Floyd just fought barely sc****d by.)

Let the young ww fight. Since Floyd is only gonna fight in 09 and that's an IF, he should have only one more in him at the level he got us used to. Anyway you your facts twisted man. Baldomir was seen as the most likely fighter to beat PBF at the time, he had not lost for 10 years and had just beat Judah. Judah had already lost to baldomir and Tszu but those were seen (not by Floyd, by US, the audience as flukes) so the fight was made. Gatti WANTED PBF against his manager's best advice. Please if you're gonna try to bad mouth the best of our era dont be partial.

I'm offering constructive criticism and also asking why fans of Boxing and in particular fans of Floyd why they can accept that the best fighter on the planet isn't fighting the best contenders.

I think Floyd is a wonderful fighter , I just feel shortchanged that he isn't taking on the best in his division.
And YES Welterweight is his division and NOT Superfeatherweight ANYMORE so that argument can **** off.

I would love to see him run over Cotto, as he would. However, not prematurely. Hopefully, he will fight him when he is healthy and ready and not a minute sooner.
