Ok, why are you bashing Gatti as if I'm a fan? Are you suggesting that Manfredy was the better fighter? Well, if so, then Floyd stopping him in 2 nullifies your ridiculous point. The premise still stands. Floyd beat the best, now stfu. Thanx.
Comprehend logic? This from the dude who thinks beating 20 out of 32 opponents with losing records isn't "that many"?

PBF's conquered every Division he's fought at, he's beat the best in the divisions, what else does he have left to prove? 6 World Titles in 5 different weight classes. Name me all the fighters that were able to accomplish that feat? Don't worry, I'll wait.

Yeah, Cotto was fighting nobodies like undefeated prospects Malignaggi, Torres and Quintana while Floyd was fighting NOBODIES like Emanuel Augustus (22-16-4, loser of 4 of his last 6 fights.)

And that 36 year old was a hell of a lot more active than DLH was when Floyd fought him (3 fights in the 2 years prior vs 1 fight in over 2 1/2 years prior, not to mention Shane had just SCHOOLED the guy that Floyd just fought barely sc****d by.)

augustus would give cotto a serious run for his money if they fought at the lighter weight

c/s that. Mayweather still considers Augustus his toughest opponent. Vastly underrated fighter (at the time anyway). Kinda reminded me of Jose Louis Lopez in that he got up for some fighters and mailed it in for others. Also proof that records mean little, quality of opp means everything.

i don't know if Leonard and Hearns fighting Hagler are good examples cause both of thos guys were really welter's. Similat to Hopkins beating Trinidad and De La Hoya.

I might also add that Mayweather complained that HBO would NOT let him fight Leija because they felt it was a mismatch but OK'ed Gatti to fight him. ****, even HBO knows how much Gatti ****** at the time. The man lost to IVAN ROBINSON TWICE. ANGEL MANFREDY. And nearly DIED at the hands of Oscar De La Hoya. He was FINISHED.

LMAO@ how pathetic you sound. 32-0? Against who? Prior to Gatti, the last dude he fought had a LOSING RECORD. In fact, MOST of the guys he fought had losing records. ****, most of the guys he fought after Gatti had losing records.

Dude, don't try to lump me in with anybody. I believe Floyd beats Cotto. I also believe Floyd is a great fighter. But I won't nuthug him just because I'm a FAN of his. And I won't accept mediocrity just so I can defend him on a message board. Sharmba Mitchell looked like absolute **** in his two fights before Floyd, one of them a division below where he was bounced up and down off the mat like an excited hooker. So cut the crap and take off the chinchilla-covered glasses, ok? No need to try and make an insignificant win as something SPECIAL.

You will soon find that if you say anything negative about Floyd then Sonofisis will continue with his nonsense for ever quoting people's "opinions" rather than facts.
