if joe will give him a shot roy will take it in a blink....

ive been watching all the press conferences of recent... and roy seems to have 100% of his confidence back, and i mean that with sincerity...

in his last fight... roy used a different style.. more of a rope a dope style... only this time he was amazingly effective at it... his hand speed is 95% there, along with his accuracy... hes lost his legs to a point... but in the 11th round he was high stepping/ showing off while he knocked hanshaw down in a flashy way... hanshaw is also no joe calzaghe

hes not a prime roy, nor does he fight like one... but hes got some gas left in the tank.. how much? is yet to be seen

oe has looked sloppy in many fights when he isn't motivated.

his best fights were agaisnt the big names that he trained ahrd for.

brewer, lacy and kessler. if he fought lioke he did in those fights then he has a good chance of beating roy. calz is fast as roy but he does it in combo's. roy is fast but he sits on his pucnhes sometimes.

i think that calz could have beaten roy when both at primes for sure. anyone with his stamina and speed has a chance to win a sd/ud.

Then he wouldn't have been a 4 weight world champion and his legacy wouldn't be as good. I think he would have struggled to make weight and been drained for some fights.

As far as Calzaghe goes, they probably would have had 2 or 3 fights, with Roy getting the best of it, until he got older, and Joe would have been forced to move up or down in weight to be the best in his division.

Even Roy admitted you have to KO Joe to be able to win and he isn't going to KO Joe, especially if Kessler couldn't

Roy would be known as the best 168 pounder of all time but maybe not a p4p elite because, well, he never moved up.

Now Kessler is in the same class as Prime Roy Jones , thats the trouble with fanboys they always paint everybody with a common brush ,, in my view Prime Jones KOs both Kessler and Joe ,,, but we will never know .
