First the translation is bad, on the newspaper it says that this fight (cotto-gomez) might be done to give Cotto more exposure to the west coast fans...but I really doubt the report is true.

Arum talks all the time about how Mayweather takes safe fights. Looks to me that Cotto/Gomez is a very safe sparring session. For weeks supposedly Clottey was being mentioned as a possible opponent, now all of a sudden they bring on Gomez? You have got to be kidding me...Clottey and Luis Collazo always seem to get screwed because they are too good!!...Heck why not offer the young Stud Andre Berto (HBO has been Showcasing him of late).......I mean come on!!! I can tell you right now what will happen: Cotto has a tougher fight than people expect due to Gomez's incredible chin and heart, Cotto will win a decision, probably 116-112. People will start discrediting Cotto, because he had "a hard time" with Gomez and Cotto will have to reastablish himself among boxing fans. I can already see the Cotto haters smirking, this is exactly what they wanted because this will give them the oppertunity to bash Cotto...

a DLH rematch is ridiculous, who would believe DLH can win. DLH may walk away with a big purse full of cash, but he'll go out looking ****** rather than impressive.
