Hopkins less so but he still looked good against Tarver.

    Calzaghe UD 118-110 or 117-111.
hopkins didnt look as good against tarver as tarver looked bad against bernard... if the same tarver that fought roy, fought bernard, he would of beaten bernard... tarver was 220 for the rocky movie and had to make 175... and he sure looked terrible in that fight... and bhop barely edged out a fight against wright who never fought at that weight...

Regardless of the size of the oppenents, I was trying to show you the difference in the OPPOSITION sir. That was my point in bringing that out.

Now, let me look at the NO-NAME fighters that he has fought...

Evans Ashira, Mario Veit, Kabary Salem...who ARE THESE GUYS? Name ONE elite fighter on his resume..just one.

Listen, boxing here in the States is years ahead of anywhere else in the world! The best fighters that the UK have to offer will come here and get exposed! I.E. Naseem Hamed- Barrera- UD, Mayweather- Hatton- 10 rd TKO...

what will be Joe's fate? Guess we BOTH will see.
      Mikkel Kessler.

Wright is very hard to look good against because of his defense. Most people actually thought Wright would beat Hopkins before the fight, the same with Tarver. I am not trying to defend Bernard but he has beaten the odds on a number of occasions and deserves recognision.

Calzaghe also beat Chris Eubank btw.

I don't like the fact that most yanks believe you have to beat an American in America to be accepted as an elite fighter. It doesn't work that way anymore. Mikkel Kessler and Joe Calzaghe are the two best Super Middleweights and they are both from Europe. If Mikkel Kessler beat Oscar De La Hoya @ 168 would that be a good win for him? It seems so in most of your eyes.

                      That's just a generalization, I can't take that seriously.

You should have mentioned the best Joe has fought, Kessler and Eubank.
Don't just put unrecognizable names, and pretend they're the best Joe's fought.

                      Joe is a proven fighter.

Now, you can make yourself happy with history lessons, you can give yourself some consolidation before the fight. I don't blame you for that because I'm 1000% sure Joe will win.

I'm betting all my points, I'll bet them with you, if you agree.

When it's all said and done, when Joe defeats Popkins to a convincing UD, you'll then realize how wrong you were.
