I agree-but also keep in mind Joe and Frank arent saps and with this being his first fight in the United States I will bet my only remaining ball that Joe comes with a british judge.

1 brit, 1 american and one **** from Venezuela or some ****-it had to have been worked out this way.

        This fight is ******ed

This is not a good fight. I love Bernard Hopkins. But, he's 43 years old. Calzaghe looked very good against Kessler. Calzaghe will win this fight easily. But what makes me even more hesitant of supporting this fight is the idea that a 43 year old Bernard Hopkins is not going to risk being embarassed. Which means, he will not fight the fight that he needs to to win. The result, a low contact boxing match that allows Hopkins to set up one more payday (Jones Jr.? Is this the Senior Tour?)after he loses.

Calzaghe has to fight someone. True. The benefit of this Hopkins fight is it will give him exposure in the United States. Let's hope he uses that exposure to set up a fight with Taylor, Dawson or Pavlik, and NOT Roy Jones Jr.

This is one fight that I have been waiting on! I've been watching Joe and his opposition hasn't been up to par, now he gets to fight a legend in the States. I believe that B Hop will win this fight, he is very CRAFTY. I don't know how Joe will react when B Hop uses his "dirty" tactics in the fight. I also believe that we will see THE BEST of BHOP. I like BHOP by UD or late stoppage...

I'm not dreaming man. This is how I see the fight. If everyone can feel one way, and pick who they like, y can't I?

B Hop is an old Philly fighter, they produce tough rugged fighters. Name the last tough, rugged fighter that Joe been in there with? Tell me his resume for that matter....Please.

                Forget Philly.
                This is real simple.
Joe is in great shape, his conditioning is unmatchable.
He will overwhelm Popkins with his work-rate.

OK, so just by being in great shape, you win the fight? Last time I checked, BHOP was ALWAYS in shape! ALWAYS. Unmatchable conditioning, says who? Who has pushed him? OK, lets look at the fighters that he fought from the States, (I don't know the guys that he beat over there)

Lacy- Homerun hitter, with minimal BOXING skills
                    Manfredo- Contender bust

He overwhelmed THEM, then these two guys fight and have a stinker on the May-Hatton card?

Listen, this is will the toughest fight of Joe's LIFE! He ain't never been in there with Oscar, Tito, Jones Jr, Winky, Tarver, Taylor and his resume don't have those kind of names. Mark my words, BHOP has been here before and Joe's work rate will NOT make overwhelm BHOP.

Now don't get it twisted, I believe that Joe is a great boxer, with a very high work rate. I am by no mean a hater of Joe, I just know the sport. But, this will NOT be a walk in the park for Joe like EVERYONE seems to make it. We can agree to disagree sir....
