Interesting that HBOPPV and Showtime will wind up going head-to-head with separate light heavyweight bouts.

I seem to be in the minority (at least among the media), but I have no problem saving my money on this one and instead watching Dawson-Johnson. This fight is intriguing, but intrigue rarely if ever translates to entertaining, or even watchable in Hopkins' case.

Money May, I know you know your boxing history, but it seems you're hesitant to catch up. This is NOT the country where the best fighters are anymore. Hop is not a legend, he lost to the only legitimate threats he ever faced. You can't start talking about Oscar and Tito, but criticize fighting a guy like Kessler. That one fight was better than Hopkins's entire career. All the best fighters above welterweight are elsewhere in the world anyway.

Get with it brother, fighting Americans in America just because we see them on ESPN and HBO is not important anymore.
