There is not such a thing as P4P #1 all time, only idiots will think that. Each era was different, different time and different fighters, lets move on with this rubbish!

IMO, it was much more impressive Roy's string of titles from 160 all the way to heavy (a much greater range than from 130 to 154), not to mention unifying the bejeebers out of light heavy (Floyd has never completely unified a title.) People are impressed with Floyd's 0, but Roy didn't really lose until he was 35 and had come back down from heavyweight (let's see Floyd go back to 130 and fight Pacquiao in a couple years.)

I always have problems with these type of polls (all-time). How many FULL fights of Gene Tunney, Harry Greb, Benny Leonard, Armstrong or Pep have you really seen?

In fact, how many full fights of SRR or Joe Louis have you seen?

It isn't fair for me to compare Pernell and RJJ - who i saw fight their ENTIRE careers - to Marciano who I saw parts of fights.

I have seen 30 Mayweather fights. Is it fair for me to compare him to Barney Ross?

I prefer to compare guys of common eras.

I disagree. Someone like Mickey Walker moved up from WW to HW and beat top fighters. Fitzsimmons and Roy Jones moved from MW to HW and won titles. Sam Langford moved from LW to HW and beat some of the best fighters ever, with a resume about 10X deeper than Floyd. Floyd will never break top 5 unless he does some incredible **** with the rest of his career, I don't think you guys realize how stacked the true top 5 are.

I'm an honest Mayweather fan and I think he belongs in the 20-30 group. (just my HONEST opinion) He could have fought some better opponents but its hard to discredit his wins though. (like some haters do) With that being said, if he fights Cotto and somehow beat him then its a lock for the top 20 for sure.
