not to gang up on you but,his resume is probably the greatest ever
No worries. I don't feel ganged-up upon. But I look at Walker, and I see a guy who is wide open for straight stuff up the middle. I see pretty unathletic guys there.

Are you telling me that Winky Wright gets hit by that garbage he's throwing? That Bernard Hopkins wouldn't counter him to death?

I don't rate him as high as many of the greats, if we're talking 120 years. If it's 120 then how can you rate any of today's compared to those who fought in a far stronger era and had on many occasions over a 100 and up to 300 fights. The boxers of say 1916 were many times tougher and harder than today's fighters and would walk through punches with big gloves. 12 round fights rarely prove anything and suits the guy who won't stand and fight. Now for Floyd, he is a great modern day fighter, only Pacquiao is better (paquiao has been tested many times and is far improved because of it). It's not Floyd's fault that he's never been tested, what do we know about his ability to come from behind, staggered by devastating attacks, what will he do, and his chin has barely been tested,........................................... ..........Where I rate Floyd Mayeather Junior must wait until the end of his career, and same for Manny. in 5 or 6 years from now we'll know. Many fighters can suffer one KO and never be able to take a punch again, others become more resistant. Pac or Floyd may end up with a few more losses. At this moment I have Floyd at number 2 fighter of the century so far. Rating him over 50 years, well, I'm gonna wait till he hangs his gloves up. He may end up a lot higher, but I ain't predicting anything....

Floyd will never break top 5 unless he does some incredible **** with the rest of his career, I don't think you guys realize how stacked the true top 5 are.

Did DLT and El Jesus really say top 20?

And, this was back in 07'

Looking at this thread. Tells you how overrated Floyd Mayweather Jr is by his extremist fans.

And should not be given the same sway.. when judging the Multiweight champs of the past 25-30 years..
Another wise post,.... an unarguable point, I don't even think HW's can be compared to WW's and WW's cant be compared to bantamweights, let alone one twenty year era to one 60 years ago, if you do you'll find that the old fighters had all the toughness and skills to handle 97 % of todays boxers, THEY WERE VERY SKILLFUL. A Twenty round fight is almost a different sport to the VERY short 12 rds.......
