i think he's top twenty for sure.wins over cotto and williams would put him in my top 15,and a middleweight title would land him top five.

Top 40. Around where Hopkins is, the 35-40 range.

I think its too hard to say because you cant remember all the fighters but I think he has to be a top 20 guy. Hopkins is good but he didnt go to 5 divisions like Floyd, fight guys bigger then him like Floyd, and fight better comp then Floyd

        Lol

you really did go and start one didnt you haha!

I agree about the middleweight part though. If he beats a real middleweight champion he has to be top 10 ever atleast.

But I dont think you can even considering putting him into that list until he retires for good then you can take a good look at what he did and who he beat...then decide where he goes.

I just really honestly believe that there are not too many guys in the history of the sport who are better then a prime Floyd P4P.

Just look at Manny Steward. He disses Floyd all the time but even he says that he thinks the only guys who could beat Floyd right now is a "big WW". By that he's basically saying that P4P no one can beat Floyd at all but the guys at WW may beat him strictly because there so much bigger. To me, what does that really prove? Now if Floyd started at WW or even at 140 then I would say that he sucks if he couldnt beat those guys but he has to have a cut off spot like everyone else. Still, not too many guys his own size in history would ever beat him. P4P he kills guys like Margarito. Its not even close but people think Margarito may can beat him simply because he's too big for him but if they were the same size then Floyd would flat out destroy him

Do you think as a fighter that a prime Floyd Mayweather Jr is better than a Prime Roy Jones Jr???

It's a lot harder to defend a title for 10 years, (2, 3 and then 4 for the last 4) than bounce around and pick the weaker champs (Gatti over Hatton, Baldomir over Margarito, etc.) Fight guys bigger than him, you mean like 6'2" southpaw light heavy Antonio Tarver, after coming up from middleweight? Fighter better comp, you mean like a younger DLH, Winky Wright, or Trinidad?

lol..if he steps up and wins a middleweight title..all must consider him at least top 2 of p4p all time...lets once again..go over p4p...means diff weights and still dominating..he has already done that..most of everyone elses picks are guys who have only fought in like 3 weight divisions...thats not p4p...thats only hypethetical guessing
