I wouldn't bet money on Floyd to win this fight, Cotto has tools to beat Mayweather and vice-versa. This fight would have been a toss up, Cotto has one of the best jabs in the business. Mayweather Jr is not a heavy-handed fighter who applies lots of pressure and thats Cotto's weakness.

Great f u c k i n post I feel the exact same way. Id love to see it and I think its a 50/50 fight given that Mayweather wont pressure Cotto to make him fold like Pac and Margs did and Cotto is just as intelligent in the ring and still has one of the biggest punches in the welterweight division

Considering Williams lost to Quintana 4 months after Mayweather beat Hatton and 'retired' then Williams beats Quintana in a rematch and moves up. Cotto lost to Margarito just 6 months after Mayweather beat Hatton and 'retired', Margarito goes on to get KTFO by Mosley in Jan 2009 and exposed as a cheater and banned from fighting in the U.S. Cotto seemingly became a different, weaker fighter only capable of beating B level fighters.

Really, at the time Floyd left, there was nobody special. I never thought highly of Cotto ever since he got wobbled by Corley and Torres, drew with Mosley and got a gift decision, then gets busted up by an inactive Judah who hasn't fought in 1 and a half before fighting Cotto.

Best thing Floyd did was fight a Mosley who's last win was against Plasterito. Really, how can anyone see Cotto as some one who had a chance against Floyd when this guy was getting stunned from left to right against Mayweather leftovers then loses to a slow plodding cheater and some midget lol.

But AFTER these fighters lose, you claim they would easily lose to Floyd because they lost to the worlds best

But then theres Mosley, who looked bad for years and then Beats Marg and is automatically prime

Any fight in 2008 Vs Cotto, Marg or Williams would be better then 2010 Mosley lets be real
