Williams should be a light Middle or Middleweight IMO, he's too big for 147lbs, it's why nobody wants to fight him aside from Cintron. It's simply not a fair fight.
I think Williams gives problems out of his size and workrate, but I also think that no matter who you put in front of him, Mayweather will never "look amateur".

I LAUGH at anybody who says what u just said. Ur a taylor fan so i would expect it.

NO business getting out of the second round? He was nearly knocked out because he tryed to show off, collected his legs WITHIN the same round, and was fighting back at the end. And then he skillfully outjabbed and outmanuevered Taylor in a dead even fight for the next few rounds and then knocked him out.

And anybody who says Pavlik isnt a good technician has abosuletly no idea what they are talking about.

Im not even gonna argue this with you cause im absolutely correct. Its not even debateable. U just have to turn on the TV and watch a Pavlik fight to find all this out.

And that last bolded statement is LAUGHABLE
Pavlik's chin + Taylor gassing won him that fight and nothing else. I'm not saying Taylor wins the rematch because, like I said, he's mentally weak. the fact that he wanted the rematch is reassuring, but until I see Pavlik systematically break someone down (rather than throwing with the other guy until somebody goes down), then I'm not going to say he's a technical fighter with boxing ability. I saw him slug with Miranda, putting himself in harm's way. well, he's got a good chin so he gets away with it, but if the guy could box, how the **** could Miranda even hit him as bad as Miranda is?

as for Cotto, his gameplan is all about pressure. like Pavlik, he's found he takes a good shot as he moves up in weight, so that certainly helps. but there isn't a ton of boxing ability there. now, i do agree he's getting better because I think his jab won him the fight with Mosley. if he keeps improving, my opinion could change but as of now, I see no way this kid hangs with Mayweather

Hmmm.... the guy has been talking about retirement since BEFORE Cotto fought Quintana and you're wondering why he hasn't mentioned Cotto as an opponent?

except.... he had both arms so it wasnt a disadvantage. He hurt it but he was still throwing it so its not an excuse. He ****** it up and fought. It obviously wasnt bad enough to effect his game or he wouldnt have fought.

I give him a lot of credit for figuring Castillo out and beating him the second time.

But Mayweather fans just have to conceed that He had a lot of trouble with Castillos pressure, and injury was a fallback excuse.

I am nothing CLOSE to a floyd hater, i love watching this man operate in the ring, but Floyd has PISSED me off by retiring after every damn fight!!!! its rediculous.

He HAS to get in the ring with Cotto, or else stop ****ing calling urself the greatest of all time, cause u havent proved that yet!

You can say all u want that Floyd would woop this guy or that guy, but its not the same as actually getting in there and doing it!!!

I honeslty think he should retire for good after Cotto.

That may have been an overstatement but with Williams' high work rate (100 punches per round, 150 in the 12th!?!) I doubt Mayweather would look anywhere near normal, because it's not a fair fight.
