Mayweather will beat Cotto EASILY

Mark my words.

You may not like it but its the truth, Mayweather will counter him with lead rights all night, Cotto wont be able to connect so many punches due to Mayweather's defense and Mayweather will take him out of his game plan and frustrate him. WIDE UD for Floyd, Cotto will keep coming forward and pressure, he is a good fighter no doubt about it, but he won a close decision on an easily no defense/easily hitable mosley. Mayweather still has an height/reach advantage, he will move away and box and counter Miguel through 12 rounds.

When this fight happens I'm ready to bet my whole points that Cotto's connect percentage will be no more than 15-20 %.

I also think it will be easy work, which isn't a popular opinion, but I don't see why not. Hatton, when forced to actually fight (as opposed to holding), was iced in 3 rounds (8-10). Cotto doesn't do any of that holding bull**** that Hatton uses. He will get picked apart and maybe even KO'd just like Hatton, and I'm fairly sure of it.

I like Cotto and everything, but how can anybody honestly believe he is the guy to do it? If Mayweather is ever beaten, it's gonna be by somebody huge (middle or super middleweight) or with freakishly long arms and a good jab (Paul Williams), but it won't be a come-forward "relentless" (translation: easy to hit and predictable) fighter like Miguel Cotto

i think he will DESTROY COTTO......................................on points like DLH. He wont allow Cotto to get close to his body because Cotto would be one of the most dangerous body punches he has ever faced.

But that is STILL not a reason not to fight him.
