      Good question.

Nobody would dominate him. Forrest would've been a tough fight, but Floyd would make for a close fight with any fighter 154 or below.

I can't see anyone dominating Floyd. I concur with your assesment that Forrest would beat him though.

            I resent that 154 comment.

Pernell had a hell of a time at 154, Floyd would have the same problem. Maybe not in this era now, but in the 90's. It's a massive gap at that weight.

I'll give you that. Considering fighters from all eras Floyd couldn't hang with some guys at 154. But in that argument Floyd has to be considered a 130 or 135 pounder. I was talking within the last 5 or so years.

Mayweather earned a little respect last night.

Even though it was apparent that Hatton was the smaller dude in the fight, he gave a good performance. It was some bull**** on the part of Joe Cortez though not letting Ricky fight and often blaming Hatton for clinching when it was the other way around, Hatton did clinch a lot though. I don't see how you are gonna deduct a point for hitting in the back when Mayweather is turning his back to him and not deduct Mayweather for using elbows but by the 5th or 6th I already knew it wasn't long before Ricky gassed out and got popped like he did. Hatton pulled a Gatti though blocking with his face instead of his hands.. and to me last night, sorry to say it Brits, but I feel Hatton was exposed. He looked amateur against Floyd and I doubt he would have a better performance vs. De La Hoya.

I think it's bull**** what Floyd said about having accomplished everything he needed to in the sport of boxing and see it as him being scarred to lose his 0.
He leaves now he will have a good 130-135 record but besides that he will be like another Roy Jones. Miguel Cotto deserves that shot though and with the line up that the Welter division has, I don't see why anyone would want to leave now.

But besides that I found myself having to defend Floyd last night which put me in a position I had never been in before defending a fighter I don't even really like. Everyone I was with chose the fight on OO Ricky is a good guy, Mayweather is too ****y he needs to get nocked down a notch, etc. And I was one of two people who knew Mayweather was gonna win. He gave a little of what he promised in the last rounds though and made Ricky look like ****, fought a good fight and though he boxed more then pack peddle giving some good shots and getting in some killer combos. Great win for Floyd. Never thought I would see Mayweather being humble again.
