I'ved been called racial terms, ticketed for DWB, profiled and harassed but that's about it that I can prove. The looks, following me in stores, the sound of lock doors at intersections, disqualification for jobs, less than stellar service, things of that nature I can't really prove.
BlackIrish, just a couple yrs ago they had black people floating on their roofs in New Orleans for days.. On CNN, the headlines read "People in search for food" and another headline reads "Refugees looting" guess which was for which. Do u know that neighboring cities wouldn't even allow certain people to even cross into their border during KaTRINA, guess what race they were. Then we got Jena 6, we got police brutality. Sean Bell was gunned down and riddled with bullets just last yr, a few months ago a kid got shot up for holding a comb.
If it has been discussed and told to me, her mind state and how she sees things and how she remembers them definitely impacts me and sometimes enrages me. She called a white cop masta one time when i was with her and I damn near lost my mind. It has an effect and I ain't holding grudges...it's just a reality .Comment

[QUOTE=BrooklynBomber;2915278]I'm not sure which work of Dubois that you're referring to, but I disagree. The more recent Africanist interpretation sees white supremacy in a totally different light, especially in the context of psychology. In that light. Dubois is a bit dated.Because they wanted to keep them, duh! Don't you even know what the war was about?

the racism that we all address started AFTER blacks were liberated, there were many reasons to it, but I think it was the combination of what Wells was saying and Dubois was saying.
But then your point is a bit mute, not much of an inferiority complex if they re willing to keep them with their wives, if they wanted to keep them SO MUCH, they would have just taken the ****** with them to war, right? And the ****** would not run away either, too.
Next, racism is very different after the Civil Way, read Dubois and Ida Wells, they are very vocal about the change and why did the change occur
I don't agree with some of her other views, but Dr. Welsing is spot on in explaining my central point.
I'm already aware of that and it is all in this 2001 anthropological study that I've cited for you to read, "How "Caucasoids" got such big crania and why they shrank. From Morton to Rushton.".As for inferiority of races, you got to read about the Wages of Whiteness and how that was set up, but let me put it this way, blacks were at the bottom of the table, with other ethnicities making it higher in the table.Comment

Actually after the flood, Noah's three sons started three races. Shem, Ham, and Japheth. Shem starting the Semitic race meaning ***ish, Ham, the Hamitic race meaning ebony, and Japheth starting the Japheth race meaning European.Comment

See youre mixing apples and oranges, he didnt say smarter though. Besides, Hop has said time and time again he uses the tool of intimidation against his opponents, knowing that this should be taken with a grain of salt. I see what youre saying though, but it goes to how blacks were treated by whites, its just a reality, its perceived differently.
If you walked outside one day and someone hit you on the head with a hammer and the same thing happened the next day and the third day you see a guy with a hammer but he says oh I dont intend on hitting you on the head, would you beleive him? Its perecieved differently because blacks HAVE been mistreated by whites so if a white person says the same thing its taken differently and because of the past its taken to mean words of hatred and oppression.Comment
