As the point I stressed, the slves were considered to be animals(or more like commodity) and while what you are saying might be completely true, this is nothing new, we do the same with our cats and dogs.

As for the 3/5 compromise it was done solely for the political purpose of representation in the congress, as the slave state just did not have as many whites to have any serious representation in the house of represantatives.

This isn't even being realistic and is a fabrication of the historical record. Early anthropology in the early 1800s classed man into 3 separate races, yet always the caricatured "negro" last in the hierarchy. It was thought that by direct measurements that they were closest to apes (this i before DNA of course). You're exaggerating, as stated.

slavery happened in every race. its not exclusive to blacks. unless you or someone you know personally has been a slave recently, it really doesnt mean anything at all if your ancestors were.

It was way more than 300 years. Native Americans are by the way a mixture of races, being a black african was actually an official beginning race of people. Besides the black african in America cease to exist since blacks here have been mixed down with white blood.

Yes, the exploitation over hundreds of years by both Arabs and Europeans of Africa and enslavement of Africans stretching back all the way to the first millenium to present is definitely comparable. More than comparable. There is still slavery in Mauritania.
