NO, it should not be equal. There is a history, a sensitivity and a pain behind that term that you could NEVER envisage. You could never empathize because you or your people were not the victim(s) of that words oppression. The words could never be equated.

Yep, right after 9/11.. Most of the people who died definitely weren't black. They were American. Hopkins is an American. End of story..

beauty, you are such a sweet and intelligent person. I hate to see you waste your time in the presence of such ****** and reactionary emotionalism. They're taking the opportunity to express what they've always felt about black people and Hopkins' comments are just a convenience. Believe me, there's a scientifically proven correlation between IQ and racism, and it isn't a surprise that most people who post in this forum are about as smart as a moon rock.
