but seeing that God made all of us, there are no real races, its just that different people were created with different characteristics.
so why bother worrying about it, really.

Am I the only one who does not care about prejudice? I
just don't feel that one group of people should need the
approval of another group of people.
I feel if a people truly are comfortable with who they are
they would not give a damn about how some other group felt about
them it's like gay people getting mad when a straight person
makes a rude comment about them. Why should gay people
care about how straight people feel about them for example.

[QUOTE=sonofisis;2915243]Because they wanted to keep them, duh! Don't you even know what the war was about?
the racism that we all address started AFTER blacks were liberated, there were many reasons to it, but I think it was the combination of what Wells was saying and Dubois was saying.[quote]
There was no transition in racism, the same form of racism forces the same kind of hatred.
The 1 drop rule is apparent, but the point is that "inferior" doesn't equate "animal". All races were inferior according to those early scheme and it persisted as late as the 20th century.
See Leonard Lieberman's How "Caucasoids" got such big crania and why they shrank. From Morton to Rushton., Curr Anthropol. 2001 Feb;42(1):69-95.
But then your point is a bit mute, not much of an inferiority complex if they were willing to keep them with their wives, if they wanted to keep them SO MUCH, they would have just taken the ****** with them to war, right? And the ****** would not run away either, too.
Next, racism is very different after the Civil Way, read Dubois and Ida Wells, they are very vocal about the change and why did the change occur.
As for inferiority of races, you got to read about the Wages of Whiteness and how that was set up, but let me put it this way, blacks were at the bottom of the table, with other ethnicities making it higher in the table.
