Getting the hell booed out of you in your own home town should bother you. He then got to sit and watch those same hometown fans cheer a guy from England. That should bother him. When he continues to cry that he is the draw, it's obviously bothering him. That is the difference. Also, Floyd didnt "choose" to be the badguy, he is the badguy. When 90% of America is hoping you lose to a fighter from England that has to bother you.

Sometimes the loudest drums only sound like 90% ! I dont think America is represented by a room full of Brits that make a lot of noise .

The DLH fight was also in Vegas. Nice try though.

Not even 2% of America even knows Hatton, let alone 90. This is overt hyperbole and doesn't belong in an argument.

Most accurate post I have ever seen. Anyone who disagrees can look up who actually buys rap cd's. Fake gangta wannabe's like Floyd and mostly white. Ricky isnt an act. Alot of people say "He needs to stop with the nice guy act!" It's not an act. Top level people are capable of being good, down to earth people. Ricky is one of them.

If Hatton is so popular. Why is this his 1st PPV? Why is Floyd getting paid more?

Does it bother you that Floyd is so disliked? Hatton could have filled the arena in Vegas with fans from Manchester alone. Floyd wouldnt get 100 people to follow him to England unless he payed for them to go. You know this. You say you dont know anyone who knows who Hatton is, but you have never even met anyone who doesnt know Floyd. What does that say about them? Think about it. You say Floyd is looked upto by the downtrodden. Floyd may give a little to charity, but so do most people with money. So basically the downtrodden you speak of look up to him because he is iced out and brags about his cars and bitches? And is never seen without a roll of cash in his hands? Think about the purpose of presenting himself that way. Im serious, really think about it. Why would a grown man feel the need to walk around with a roll of cash and brag about what he has? And brag about "forget Sugar Ray, forget about Ali" all the time? What would the purpose of this be? And this is what the so called "downtrodden" are looking up to? Why is that? Please drop all of your knowledge on me here, I would love to understand how buying some turkeys is enough for him to be the hero of the downtrodden. And as much as you hate to admit it, hip hop would be dead and gone if it wasnt for pathetic little *****rs buying all of the **** up. You know this. You can pretend that you really believe that hiphop is all innercity at the core, but if you honestly believe that you are far too lost for anyone to get through to you. Please explain this to me, and then we can go through the rest of it tomorrow. I will sit you down and walk you through it.

Because Floyd is more popular and the bigger draw. Remember, promoters and those behind the curtain know how to run a business and how to weigh the various factors to determine who is and isn't a draw and who should get paid the most. Hatton is getting paid less because he's a hometown fighter who lacks mass appeal or mass recognition and because he doesn't have Floyd's seniority..
