thank you, and the poster you responded to is one of the reaons the haters get little to no respect to me, because supposedly nobody likes floyd anyway, i call this jealousy and envy, what do you call it.

Obviously any world class boxer has unusual mental strength but wouldn't it be a little disconcerting to find yourself as the unpopular fighter in your own backyard? Mayweather has certainly changed his tune a bit recently taking the opportunity to remind the media of the charity work he undertakes and he has tried to show a softer, more human side at time on 24/7 which says to me that he is trying to win some sort of approval.

I might be wrong but for just a second I caught a glimmer of something like envy in Mayweather's eye.
That might make Floyd beat his ass even worse.

Absolutely, I can definitely see that as an added incentive for any fighter.

I think Floyd has a healthy envy of fighters more popular. It's fuel to him.

Your "THEORY" needs to be put back into your ****holster you call a mouth.
Should I say every Hatton fan is a dirty, trailer trash, sister ****ing, Merl Haggard pumping out of their 4X4, pause...illegal immigrant, jump the border, 8 cars in the front lawn, 3 matress tied with cord on the roof of their corolla ass dude?
                    GTFO.
And to answer the question, if Mayweather is all you think him to be, why would popularity even cross his mind? Money Mayweather. I don't think he gives a **** what you think about him.

No, that's who Juan Diaz' fans are.

                      Hatton's fans are drunken brutes.
