Wow, Dominicano got severely owned here by people using his very own concepts of greatness: PRIME and ELITE. Fantastic!

Though it's hard to say that Oscar was more active because Tszyu retired during his inactivity.
I think given how long both were inactive for it is futile to suggest that one was "more inactive" than the other. I find the activity argument a bit of a pointless one altogether when you consider the training regimes that these guys go through.

For throwing a lot more pucnhes and him getting countered over and over?

Countering takes its toll on a fighter too.

Though I say they weren't in the primes, but both elietes anyway.

True, and I was just reading about Tszyu's work schedule today too ironically.

that kind of "countering" is laughable, think about the fighters Oscar has been in with and not totally shut down against. Clearly far less than he was.

I agree, both not in their primes, both still elites. So who did better against the equal competiton? Oh yeah, Hatton.

Tszyu didn't fight for what? two years before Sharmba? And he KO'd Mitchell.
Oscar took a year and a half and then KO'd mayorga.

So a five month difference is clearly meaningless.

This is an argument that you can't win. You can not win.

Tzsuy hadn't lost in 8 years when he fought Ricky and he fought the recognized best fighters at 140 and destroyed them. Oscar in his last 4 fights before DLH had 2 defeats, one by ko, one by decision, a robbery win over Sturm and a tko over shot Mayorga. That shows that he wasn't PRIME even though he was ELITE.

DD, how are u doing again!

Frazier went 44 rounds with Ali. Knocking him down, and winning once.

Frazier was annihilated TWICE by Foreman and knocked down about ten times.

Sharmba was on a 16 win streak. Mayorga got his block beat up by Trinidad and then had a 12round decision against a nobody. You're drowing Dios. Did nobody teach you how to swim in deep waters.

I disregard this post because i have never seen Mayweather get KO'd. Have you?

                      Sorry.
