    I repeat Dominicano,

Ricky fought a PRIME and ELITE fighter in 2005.
    Floyd did so in 2002.
And now we have two prime and elite fighters fighting each other.

Why can't you still be considered an eliete fighter if you are passed your prime. It doesn't matter if you are in your prime if you can beat the vast majority in your divison at the time.

That and Whitaker was known as an eliete past his best days.

Also both argument sides were weaker today and none of you guys won. Dios I say maybe edged it out, but not enough to do so convincingly.

Well the most obvious reason is that he was on a 1 year layoff. Which is a pretty long time for a boxer to be inactive. Also, as you saw in the PBF fight he wasn't doing that good in the later rounds and he started to fade.

            By the way,

Domicano is the same guy who called Corley and Harris elite. Simply phenomenal.

This is a matter of defenition. It depends on what "not prime" means to you.
Oscar was not in his prime in the Mayweather fight, that simply showed on his activity and workrate. That's not the Oscar I used to see a couple of years ago that's for sure. Most people that have followed Oscar since his early fights know exactly what I'm talking about. A prime Oscar overwhelmed his opponents with his work ethic, in the Mayweather fight, he was almost gun-shy. Anyone that says that was Oscar at his peak on May is talking out of their ass or a major Floyd ****rider...

Tszyu had much longer layoffs until fighting Hatton after Mitchell and that was still a 6 month Lay off.
