Fixed it. Oscar had one fight a year prior, a shot Mayorga. Before that, he didn't fight for SEVENTEEN AND A HALF MONTHS.

Kostya Tszyu was #3 p4p in the world, was Oscar?

Oscar took a year and a half and then KO'd mayorga.

So a five month difference is clearly meaningless.

This is an argument that you can't win. You can not win.
I never talked about the 3 year layoff...got me mixed up with someone else.

But KO'ing mayorga? COME ON MAN fatass Vargas almost did that. Everyone knows that layoffs are a sure detriment. Not necessarily a deciding factor, but A factor nonetheless.

and there is more evidence to suggest that Oscar was more diminished for his fight vs floyd than Tszyu vs Hatton.

#1 Tszyu had stronger showings in prior fights

#2 Oscar had the longer layoff

#3 Oscar gassed in the face of....well, nothing.

#4 Tszyu held his own against an unbelievable onslaught.

So therefore, Hatton deserves more credit for his win in roughing up a legend than Floyd does for potshotting his way to an SD. Period.

Overall, floyd has the better resume and will likely beat Hatton, so in the long run it wont matter, but lets let some logic into the conversation, shall we?

            You. Can. Not. Win.
Am I saying styles dont make fights, tool? Am I even saying Hatton is a better fighter than Floyd? NO reading comprehension, Dios...

Well I wouldn't call it equal competition.

Oscar could adjust much more easily to things then Tszyu could and Tszyu still had those injury effects on him.

However, I think Tszyu was just taylor made of Hatton. Rough Tough Fighter with a ****load of fans backing him all in one loud arena gives him a huge advantage.

However what Floyd did was still impressive. He beat a fighter a lot bigger then him, had the smaller ring to work with, Oscar was coming off a huge win, Oscar had the crowd backing him too, and his was an eliete also.

So to be honest, I think it's about 50/50 on which is the bigger in.

Floyd has more reach than Oscar and won the fight because of it. Smaller ring, faster fighter, go figure. Not a huge win.

So what Hatton did was better. Much better.
