Joe shouldn't argue f Bernard wants it split 60/40, to be honest. We know who will be putting fans into the seats.
I disagree with that. Him and Wink only filled up 3/4 of the arena. In reality the best place to have this fight would be the UK because it's guaranteed to draw more than the Kessler fight.

It should be 57/43 like what Cotto and Mosely did, something like that if not 50/50.

HOWEVER, Hopkins doesn't need Calzaghe. Calzaghe needs him. Hopkins can retire, complete. Calzaghe, even IF he beat Hopkins, still might have something to prove.
I disagree, Calzaghe hasn't had great opposition, but it has certainly been good enough to prove to the ring that he's a top 10 P4P fighter.

If he retired today he'd probably be remembered in the top 3 British figters of all time.

As long as he fights someone decent, because there is only so long his fans can defend this ****.

After lacy the man himself said 'only the big fights from now on'

Then he fought Bika and Manfredo,

While i respect the guy as a good boxer, this idea that everyone has ducked him for about 10 years is pure tripe.

Whatever the offer was, it was the most that Zag ever made. That is a PPV fight, and the PPV receipts dwarf the gate. CalSlappy is bitching out.

Isn't it funny how the Greenteefs always blame certain OTHER fighters for being too money-focused.

Did you read the quotes? The problem is the purse isn't more than he made against Kessler. Of course GBP are going to lowball him and try to make him look bad. The negotiations started ugly and they're getting uglier. You don't expect Joe to accept just whatever Oscar and his handmaid 'Nard say, do you?

The fight is going to happen, I don't doubt that for a second. There's no need to talk of 'ducking' on either side during the negotiations. Let's not be puppets of the promoters.

                Are you blind?

He clearly said that he earned more in the Kessler fight than what was on offer from Bitchnard, and nobody even knows if he would receive part of the PPV generated cash.

The British guys love to do that. They talk up their intent to fight people, and then it doesn't happen.

Look at the COLLECTIVE opposition of calzaghe, hatton, witter, woods, haye, etc.

                  Brits are such gays.

I agree with you, and for some reason, im leaninig towards b-hop, based on my hypothiesis he only picks the fight he knows he can win.

He said it. It isn't true.

Prove to me that calzaghe is telling the truth. What did he make for Kessler?
